Mining Tenement Manager
In June 2011 Enrico joined the TAS team and it hasn’t taken him long to settle in and become a vital member of the Perth team. Enrico previously worked for the Department of Mines and Petroleum, first as a Title Services Officer and later as the Warden’s Court Officer.
Enrico has a natural talent for the mapping side of tenement work, with both clients and colleagues often seeking Enrico’s assistance with the use of the Department mapping system, Tengraph. His background with the Department also means he has an intimate knowledge of the Mineral Titles Online database which is valuable in the efficient and accurate provision or interpretation of tenement status information.
Enrico undertakes many tasks as a Tenement Manager for TAS, including the lodgement, processing and monitoring of all dealings under the Mining Act 1978. He is responsible of updating and maintaining internal databases and ensuring statutory compliance with all tenure dealings. Enrico’s background with the Department of Mines and Petroleum means that he is able to apply his knowledge of how the Department processes work to his current environment and advise clients and colleagues on a range of issues.
Enrico is also responsible for the Warden’s Court dealings within TAS. Some of his key Warden’s Court responsibilities include:
- monitoring all upcoming court proceedings;
- assisting clients with negotiating land agreements;
- reminding clients of court dates;
- appearing at court on behalf of clients;
- maintaining databases and correspondence records; and
- lodging and responding to objections at clients’ direction.
During his time as the Warden’s Court Officer at the Department Enrico has built up a network of acquaintances throughout the mining industry. He is well known due to and is highly regarded as having an impeccable work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile for client satisfaction. Enrico’s friendly nature makes him a great contact for TAS clients who always find him knowledgeable and willing to help in any way.
