Development of the Global system commenced in the 1980's to meet the competitive and complex demands of the mining sector in Western Australia, an area recognised for its world-class mineral deposits and leading exploration programs. Its use quickly spread across Australia where it has become the industry standard. It is fast becoming a world industry standard.

Global's application has broadened in recent years with the introduction of additional data management options. The system will continue to be enhanced to cater for a constant changes to the industry.

Global is currently used by major mining houses to administer thousands of mineral holdings in Australia, Canada, USA, Mexico, New Zealand, China, Zimbabwe and many other countries around the world.

Global is used by LAS to administer a current portfolio of around 40 million acres of exploration and mining holdings on behalf of its many clients.
