TAS was established in 1980 and has since grown into the industry leader in the field of tenement administration. The company’s offices in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane are responsible for managing tenements throughout Australia, Asia and Africa.
TAS specialises in both the day-to-day and complex administration of mining tenements on a contract basis throughout Australia, and through it’s associates, throughout the world. TAS is a registered contractor with the United Nations, World Bank, Asian Development Bank and AusAID.
In 1997 the company received Quality Assurance accreditation under ISO 9002 and is believed to be the only organisation of its type in the world to achieve this accreditation.
In 1998, TAS purchased Global Land Management Systems Pty Ltd, having used the product for over ten years, and has since expanded the Global Land Management System (GLMS) product to new implementations both domestically and internationally. GLMS is currently used by companies such as

- Cominco Limited, who have just advised of their intention to go "world-wide" with the product
- BHP Billiton Plc (World-wide Minerals), who are implementing their initial world-wide site in Vancouver in late August, 2001.
With combined professional careers well in excess of 100 years, including experience in all Australian Mines Departments, the principals, consultants and employees of TAS possess unique expertise in the mining industry and the government administration of the mining, mineral processing and oil and gas industries.
